In Genesis 1:1 we are told that God created the heaven and the earth. Many people read this first verse as preserved in the King James version of the Bible and immediately began to cast a shadow of doubt upon the minds of men by stating that the word heaven in verse one should be heavens, which of course implies that the translators of this version of the Bible made a mistake. I do not take this approach in handling God’s preserved words to the English speaking people.  I choose to believe that a God that is big enough to create everything that is unseen and seen is big enough to see to the fact that specific men that love him and his words are used as the mechanical means by which those words are protected, preserved, and passed on to others.  In...
