THE WOMAN’S FUCNTIONAL SALVATION

Gen 2:18  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Gen 2:23  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Gen 2:24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Since the beginning of man, Satan has formulated a plan to have man to walk contrary to God and His ways, and follow after his ungodly thinking, and ways in this evil world. God had intended man to be a godly (God-like) creature, having dominion in the world, with the woman being his wife were to display godliness in Eden. Satan went after the woman seeing the fellowship that she had with the man, and knowing God’s fellowship with the man; he knew that his only chance of success would be through the man’s “help meet;” the woman. Throughout the course of time, Satan has continued to go after the woman, corrupted God’s word to and through man, and designed a world that would cater to the lusts and desires of both the man and the woman. And it was God’s design and intent that the man and the woman be “one flesh,” as one, with togetherness. This union would serve to protect both the man and woman from the lusts and desires of this world, and the woman from being victimized by Satan and this world as well. Now in particular, we will look at the functional “salvation” that God has given the woman from the course of this world, and the attacks that Satan and the world has for her.

1Ti 2:9  In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

1Ti 2:10  But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

1Ti 2:11  Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

1Ti 2:12  But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

1Ti 2:13  For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

1Ti 2:14  And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

1Ti 2:15  Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

God has designed a ‘salvation’ for the woman from the effects of this world’s attack against her; the above verse says that “she shall be saved in childbearing,” now this does not mean that if a woman has a child she will not be affected by this world’s attacks against her, but it is her union with the man, with childbearing, along with her continuance in “faith and charity and holiness with sobriety” that produces the salvation from this ungodly world. Notice when going over how a woman ought to not to be too concerned about her appearance, Paul mentions how the woman was deceived by Satan? This is because Satan and this world knows the ‘care’ that the woman can have for her appearance, but a woman “professing godliness” would not be too concerned about her appearance, but she would spend that time with ‘care’ for the “good works”         concerning the things of the Lord. Also, this world would have her to think that she should be in the authoritative role in a marriage, but a godly woman would understand and appreciate the non-authoritative role in the marriage just as God intended.

1Co 11:8  For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

1Co 11:9  Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

1Co 11:10  For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

1Co 11:11  Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

1Co 11:12  For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

There is a designed Godly structure for the man and woman in the marriage, but this world would have people to walk contrary to this Godly designed way, but in this life the man feels there is nothing wrong being “without the woman,” or have the woman “without the man” all their life, or being with someone from the same sex, but a godly marriage would have the man and woman living godly “in the Lord” just as He designed. And just as God says in Genesis 2:18, “it is not good that the man should be alone,” but today man does not follow this Godly design, but think it is good to be single, or without the woman in their life at all. God designed for the woman to have “power on her head”, and for the woman to acknowledge and submit to the non-authority position in the marriage. This “power on her head” is about the woman’s husband being what God called him to be in the beginning; which was a godly creature, thinking like God does, doing things His way, and working together with Him in the things He is doing. This can have a positive effect upon the “angels” (the principalities, powers, mights, thrones, and dominion) when the woman and man are godly “in the Lord,” and the man has learned how to let God’s word work effectually within him, whereas he and she will not be given to the “fashion of this world” and it’s enticing ways.

1Co 7:31  And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

1Co 7:32  But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

1Co 7:33  But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

1Co 7:34  There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

The Apostle Paul says that the married saints should be “without carefulness” concerning the “fashion of this world,” meaning they should not have so much ‘care’ about the things of this world, but they should act as the unmarried saint ought to; caring for “the things of the Lord” instead. And when this is done, the man and the woman put on display the “power” and wisdom of God’s overall plan for the woman and man as in the beginning with Adam and Eve. And since the beginning Satan has went after the woman, and in the verses below we will see some of the effects this world can have upon a woman without “power on her head.”

1Ti 5:11  But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;

1Ti 5:12  Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

1Ti 5:13  And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

1Ti 5:14  I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

1Ti 5:15  For some are already turned aside after Satan.

Most do not understand the “power” of marriage, and the effect it can have on Satan, and “the angels.” And when both the man and the woman are operating upon sound doctrine, and they both are following God the Father’s design for marriage, Satan is no match for their marriage, and there is salvation from being victimized by Satan. In Ephesians 3:10 we are told that we the church make God’s manifold wisdom “known” unto the angels, and the angels can rejoice when the word of God is working effectually within the saint like God intended. In verses 11-13 Paul speaks of women who are not married, and need that type of salvation. Paul says that the younger widows are not to be taken in, because if they become “idle” (without a husband) for too long, Satan will have a chance to “speak reproachfully” about her, and she will be an easy target for him. Paul says if a woman remains unmarried she has “cast off her first faith,” and that she has “damnation,” this is not talking about losing her salvation from the debt and penalty of her sins, this “damnation” was a functional damnation, and has to do with the woman not following God’s design, but following Satan; and she, like some in Paul’s day were “already turned aside after Satan,” they were not spiritually lost, but they belonged to him, and were “turned aside” after the things of this world.

Tit 2:1  But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

Tit 2:2  That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

Tit 2:3  The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

Tit 2:4  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Tit 2:5  To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

The woman’s “first faith” is the woman operating upon God’s designed will for her as explained in His word; that consists of the woman understanding and appreciating the purpose in which she was created. Furthermore, in Titus 2:4-5 shows the ‘blueprint’ for a godly woman, and one that is “sound in the faith” and if the woman is not operating upon “sound doctrine,” then she is an easy target for Satan, and the word of God will be “blasphemed” because she is not following God’s design for the woman in His word. This salvation saves the woman from the damnation of being “led away,” “turned aside,” and “deceived” by Satan and his ministers, and the things of this world, and having a functional damnation because she is “led” by Satan, and not by the doctrine according to godliness.

2Ti 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2Ti 3:6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Finally, as we can see throughout the world, the attendance of the woman in the churches is greater than the male attendance in the church, and this is not by chance, or just a coincidence. These men spoken of in verses 1-5 are active in the church world today, and they have a particular doctrine that can cater more towards the women that the men, this doctrine caters to a particular set of “divers lusts” (different lusts). Today we find the doctrine of health, wealth, and relationship as the primary message being preached by the preachers in the churches around the world, and this doctrine caters to the ones in the pursuit of one, if not all of these “divers lusts.” And as we all know someone who attends church every week, three or more times a week, and has been going to church all their life, but do not understand God’s will today, or their bibles, let alone God’s plan of salvation; it can be said that these are ones who are “ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” You see, this is because they have more “care” for the “things of this world,” and they can be addicted to what they hear, because this man’s ‘godly’ appearance can be deceiving, but we are told in God’s word that it is not the outward man that is to display godliness; but it is the inward man that shows the effectual genius of God’s word working through the saint in godliness.
